The La Rinconada Public Library, located at 2 Zenobia Camprubí Street, has been granted a subsidy aimed at acquiring bibliographic materials as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, an initiative financed by the European Union via the NextGenerationEU funds. The goal of this subsidy is to enhance public access to cultural materials by updating and expanding the collections of the libraries integrated in the Andalusian Public Library Network.
Thanks to this subsidy, the library will be able to acquire new printed books of different genres and topics, including, but not limited to: literature, science, technology, and children's books. This renewal and expansion of the collection will result in an updated and wider selection for the library's users, which will foster reading and a wider cultural knowledge. Thus, the library reinforces its role in the cultural space and contributes to improving the quality of its public services.
The total investment for this project, integrated in the cultural industry enhancement program, amounts to €2,047.38, of which €2,040 have been financed by the NextGenerationEU funds.
