La Rinconada City Council is developing a series of strategic projects that contribute to the modernization of the city, to the improvement of public services and to the creation of a more sustainable, digital, inclusive and resilient urban model, all of which have been financed by the European Union via the NextGenerationEU funds within the framework of the Spanish government’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (RTRP).
These projects have been designed around different levels and components within the RTRP, and they cover areas such as sustainable mobility, the council’s digital transformation, the reinforcement of social and care services, or the modernization of cultural infrastructures. Each one of these actions responds to the goals established in La Rinconada’s Urban Agenda and strengthens the city’s commitment to sustainable development and to improving the citizens’ quality of life.
