This component serves to fund projects dedicated to promoting renewable electricity generation, self‑consumption, energy communities, and the integration of these sources into the electricity grid.
Component 7 also promotes energy diversification, emissions reduction, and green job creation by supporting technologies such as photovoltaics, wind power, and biomass, and facilitating access to sustainable energy solutions for households, businesses, and governments. In municipalities like La Rinconada, the C7 allows for the development of initiatives to harness local renewable resources, reduce energy bills, and make progress in our green transition through a fair, participatory approach that ensures a positive impact on the environment.
